The plan is to spread the word and create excitement about Mortal Existence by continuing to play test the game, connecting with local gaming venues, launching a website, and creating promotional materials. Additionally, I am planning on promoting Mortal Existence at regional gaming conventions.

What we have: 5 game manuals: The Gaming Manual (159 pages with cover art), The Book of Spells (84 pages), The Book of Monsters, Creatures and Beings (260 pages), The Book of the Alchemist’s Works (77 pages), and The Book of the Living Dead (37 pages). Some artwork has been created for the Book of Monsters and also for the Gaming Manual. There are 7 completed adventures and a number of others in the works.

What we need: Editing. Formatting. More artwork. Printing and Packaging (including all manuals, adventure booklets, dice and maps). Marketing.

What we plan to offer backers: Backers will be offered an array of unique items, such as mini adventures only available to backers, special dice sets, merchandise and more.

What we would like to do in the future:

Continue to develop the game: future editions, monsters and creatures endemic to certain lands or regions, and more adventures that take characters to all of the lands of the Mortal Realms.

Continue to develop the website: we would like to have character sheets that can be filled in on the website and all calculations completed by a computer program. We would like to develop software to design pictures of characters based off of the character sheet information. One of my consultants, Jeff King and I, have written music that we would like to develop and add to the website for downloads. The amazing thing about this game is that the possibilities are endless!

Timeline: The goal is to have all of the content ready 6 months from the initial Kickstarter campaign. This will include the editing and formatting, artwork, dice manufacturing, printing and packaging. Regular updates on the progress will be posted on the website.

Budget:

• Editing: $4,000

• Formatting: $2,000

• Artwork: $20,000 - $35,000

• Dice (for 1,000 sets, including the mold or tooling fee): $5,500

Additional funding will be needed for packaging, printing, marketing and shipping. These estimates will be posted to the website as we gather the quotes. Any suggestions on vendors are appreciated.
